Really connecting with people and their way of working. This is often underestimated in implementation phases. Working with a new IT system is often awkward. It is not primarily about technology, but about a different way of working. In the E-Doc project it is the personal, proactive approach that led to support and acceptance. So people say: "Through the personal support of the trainers and floor walkers, E-Doc has added value to my daily work".

Personal approach effective in E-Doc implementation

Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW)

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) requested assistance with the implementation of the new document management system E-Doc. The assistance consisted of staff training and advising in management and organization. Vellekoop & Meesters has extensive experience in implementing digitalization and e-Docs at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation.

Working more efficiently and more effectively helps the government respond adequately to societal challenges. Accessible information, efficiently designed processes and good communication are essential in accomplishing this. E-Doc is one of the digitalization projects at the Ministry of OCW. This system supports digital document registration, collaboration on documents, document routing and digital archiving. The result is better traceability, reliability and completeness of documents and (archive) files.

The Ministry is moving towards uniform processes with E-Doc. E-Doc also offers the opportunity for collaboration and digital document exchange with other governmental organizations and ultimately connection to the E-Depot.
